My laptop screen is so boring I can hardly see it, whats wrong?

I turned on my laptop and I can brely see the screen, its really faded and dull. I'm powering it on av adapter so it's not the battery. Any ideas what it could be?

Laptop screen flashes black.?

My laptop screen blinks black a lot when I write or really doing anything. I can virtually press anywhere with any kind of pressure on the keyboard and the screen flashes. It is not the battery, I removed it and it still blinks. Nor is the circuit, I checked its connection with wiggling it. I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting. I'm wondering if a cable is binding or short circuit somewhere inside the case?
