Dell Inspiron 1525 help Please!?
Okay I have a (kinda new) Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop that I just got late last year. I have not yet installed the Norton anti-virus software. It was working fine untill i think a virus took over my laptop and now windows won’t start up normally at all. I’ve tried doing a System Retsore on safe mode,but it keeps telling me that i need restore points(what ever that is?) Every time i turn my laptop on it just gives me a black screen but the white cursor still shows. Please tell me how i can fix this problem.!
Hi…if there are no restore points, then a System Restore will not be possible. You may have to restore the laptop back to factory specifications. Turn on the laptop, and look on the bottom of the screen for a tip that will let you know how to do a system recovery. It should be maybe F10 or F11. Press the correct button, then follow the onscreen instructions to put your laptop back to the OOB (out of box)condition. If that does not work, I can help you. Let me know what happens.
