How do I enable encryption on my wireless router?

I have a D-Link DL-524 wireless router. I know the answer should be obvious but I can not figure it out. I installed the router and have no problems with the connection of either Ethernet or WiFi to any of my computers or my PDA. It is currently radio and unsecured. I can not figure out how to encrypt it, or in other words get the router to use WEP or WPA encryption. I have no idea how to activate encryption, and I can not find some help online. I installed it with the supplied disk, and I changed the SSID from default. I can not figure out how to enable encryption! It would also be great to turn off the radio and TV if possible. I'm not an idiot, and I understand how encryption works and how to connect to an encrypted or unbroadcasted / hidden network, I just can not figure out how to configure my router. I am using Windows XP on two computers and Windows Vista on another. If only a computer can handle it, I want to manage it with my laptop with vista.

How can I fix my slow Internet connection?

Hi, I have had my laptop for about 4 years. Specifications: Intel Pentium 4 Windows XP HP Pavilion zd8000 ATI Graphics card (it means something) Have trouble loading videos or even go to websites. I tried to defragment your hard disk, making disk clean up, and clear the cache. Nothings working. I have broadband connection.
